Jayne Brook

Born and raised in Northbrook, Illinois, Jayne Brook went to Duke University and also attended the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in her senior year. She studied abroad for a semester at Oxford and went to drama school in England. After graduation, she honed her craft on the London stage with leading roles in many productions, including Every Black Day, Much Ado About Nothing, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, You're Gonna Love Tomorrow and the royal premiere of Dreams in an Empty City at the Lyric Hammersmith Theater.

Brook returned to the US and started working immediately. Her feature film credits include Kindergarten Cop, Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead, Clean Slate opposite Dana Carvey, Bye Bye Love opposite Paul Reiser, Ed, Last Dance with Sharon Stone and Rob Morrow, Into My Heart and Gattaca.

She has also amassed numerous television credits. Brook appeared for four-and- a-half seasons on the acclaimed drama Chicago Hope. Other television credits include series regular roles on The District, Imagine That opposite Hank Azaria, Sirens and WIOU, and a recurring role on Sports Night. She has appeared in the miniseries The Old Boy's Network opposite Tom Conti and In The Best of Families with Kelly McGillis, as well as the television movies My Mother the Spy opposite Dyan Cannon, Doing Time on Maple Drive, The Four Diamonds, The Dan Jansen Story and Trauma opposite Kyle Secor and Lindsay Frost.
