Alison Eastwood made her acting debut in the 1985 suspense thriller
Tightrope, starring opposite her father,
Clint Eastwood, as the young daughter of a homicide detective on the trail of a serial killer. Over a decade later she once again appeared with her father in
Absolute Power, cast as an art student who admires the sketching ability of a master thief.
At 18 Eastwood moved to Santa Barbara where she began to study acting, later moving to Los Angeles, where she made her theater debut in the Coast Playhouse production of Woman In Control, followed by It's a Beautiful Life. She has since formed her own production company, Purple Rose Productions, and currently has two projects in development. The first, Bombshell, is based on the life of Jean Harlow and is derived from the 1993 novel by David Stenn. The second project is a film based on The Misanthrope. Currently Eastwood is in production on the feature film Suicide, The Comedy, produced by Alibi Entertainment. She stars opposite Jamie Harris, son of Richard Harris, as the inspirational ex-girlfriend of Harris' suicidal character.
In addition to her acting career, Eastwood has appeared as a model on runways around the world and in such publications as Italian Elle, Tatler and American Vogue.
