Recently named by TV Guide as one of the sexiest women on television, Tangi Miller captivates audiences as the smart and stylish Elena Tyler on Felicity.

Born and raised in Miami, Fla., Miller began acting in high school productions but she chose to major in the more practical field of marketing while attending Alabama State University. Realizing that she spent all of her free time acting in theater productions, she decided to seriously pursue acting after graduation.

Intense in her desire to study the craft of acting, Miller earned a Master of Fine Arts degree at the University of California, Irvine and has also studied at the Royal National Theatre in London as well as the Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Since then, she has launched a professional acting career with Felicity as well as lead roles in the independent feature films The Other Brother, in which she stars opposite Mekhi Pheifer, and Rhinos. On television, she has guest-starred on HBO's sports comedy Arliss and the drama series Michael Hayes.

When not busy acting, Miller enjoys keeping up with one of her greatest passions, African/Caribbean dance. As a member of a Los Angeles-based professional dance troupe, she has performed in West Africa, Cameroon and Ghana. She also likes practicing yoga as well as studying and experiencing foreign cultures through her travels, most recently spending several weeks traveling through Egypt.
