Jeremy Northam
Jeremy Northam studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School after graduating from London University in 1984. He worked in regional theatre and television before spending two years at both the National Theatre and the Royal Shakespeare Company.
Northam made his U.S. film debut in The Net, opposite Sandra Bullock. He followed that up with lead roles in the feature films Emma, Gosford Park and An Ideal Husband.
Over his distinguished career, he has made over 25 films with many notable directors such as Robert Altman, Sidney Lumet, Guillermo Del Toro, Steven Spielberg, Norman Jewison and James Ivory.
His most recent work includes Showtime's The Tudors, as well as the feature films Dean Spanley, Glorious '39 and Creation.
Northam currently resides in Los Angeles. His birth date is Dec. 1.
