Biography #2 (for Old School)

Luke Wilson made his feature film debut in Bottle Rocket, which also marked his first onscreen work with his brother, actor/writer Owen Wilson, and writer/director Wes Anderson. They then reteamed on Anderson's Rushmore, one of the most critically acclaimed films of 1998, which was co-written by Anderson and Owen Wilson, and co-starred Luke Wilson. In 2001, Anderson and the Wilson brothers enjoyed their most successful collaboration on the widely acclaimed comedy The Royal Tenenbaums, again directed by Anderson and co-written by Owen Wilson and Anderson, in which the Wilson brothers joined an all-star ensemble cast, including Gene Hackman, Anjelica Huston, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Stiller and Bill Murray.

Earlier that year, Wilson had also earned praise from critics and audiences when he starred opposite Reese Witherspoon in the smash hit comedy Legally Blonde. He had previously appeared in the blockbuster Charlie's Angels, with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu. This summer, Wilson will be seen in the much anticipated sequels to both films: Legally Blonde: Red, White & Blonde and Charlie's Angels 2: Full Throttle.

Wilson had first worked with Barrymore when they starred together in the offbeat romantic comedy Home Fries. His other feature film credits include Committed, opposite Heather Graham; My Dog Skip; Blue Streak, with Martin Lawrence; and Scream 2.

Following Old School, Wilson stars in Masked & Anonymous, with Bob Dylan, Penelope Cruz and Jessica Lange. He is presently filming the romantic comedy Loosely Based on a True Love Story, in which he stars opposite Kate Hudson, under the direction of Rob Reiner.
