Biography #2

Michael Biehn's film performances include three classics directed by James Cameron: The Terminator, Aliens and The Abyss. His additional film credits include John Landis' Susan's Plan; Michael Bay's The Rock, starring Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage; William Friedkin's Jade and Rampage; George P. Cosmatos' Tombstone, with Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer; Franc Roddam's K-2; Carl Schultz' The Seventh Sign; the action film Navy SEALS, with Charlie Sheen; and Edward Bianchi's The Fan (in which he made his film debut).

Biehn's television credits include starring roles in the CBS series The Magnificent Seven, the miniseries Asteroid and Deadly Intentions. He has guest-starred on such series as Hill Street Blues, Police Story and Family.

The Anniston, Alabama native grew up in Lincoln, Nebraska. At age eight he began acting in theatre just for fun. During a high school performance, the Dean of Drama at the University of Arizona spotted Biehn and offered him a drama scholarship. Biehn accepted and eventually moved to Arizona with his family. In 1976, Biehn moved to pursue his career in Hollywood, where he was cast as the psychotic fan stalking Lauren Bacall in The Fan. He went on to a role in Lords of Discipline, then hit it big when he was chosen to play opposite Arnold Schwarzenegger in James Cameron's The Terminator. His association with Cameron would lead to more roles in the director's subsequent hits, Aliens and The Abyss.
