Phil Hartman
Phil Hartman has been an audience favorite since first gaining fame on
Saturday Night Live. He more recently starred on the hit NBC comedy series
NewsRadio, which just completed its third season. Hartman starred with
Arnold Schwarzenegger in the comedy
Jingle All the Way. A native of Canada, Hartman had accumulated 16 years of comedy experience when he joined the ensemble on
Saturday Night Live in 1986. In 1990 he won an Emmy Award for his contribution as a writer on
Saturday Night Live, and in 1993 was honored with a second Emmy for his individual performance on the show. Tragically, Phil Hartmans life was cut short in May of this year.
Small Soldiers marks his final film.
