Stephen Kay
A graduate of Brown University and The American Film Institute, director/writer/actor Stephen Kay made his feature film directorial debut with The Last Time I Committed Suicide, starring Thomas Jane, Keanu Reeves, Claire Forlani, Gretchen Mol and Adrien Brody, from his own screenplay. Most recently, Kay co-wrote (with director Scott Silver and Kate Lanier) The Mod Squad for MGM.
In addition, he co-wrote and directed the 30-minute Showtime movie, Two Over Easy, based on his play. The film was nominated for three CableACE Awards, including Best Screenplay, Best Actor, and Best Dramatic Series.
Kay's next directorial project is The Enthusiast, based on Harry Crews's All We Need Of Hell. The film will be produced by Luc Besson and Chip Diggins.
