Jerry Zucker

Jerry Zucker directed the box-office hit Ghost, nominated for five Academy Awards including Best Picture. Zucker's body of work includes directing the love story First Knight, starring Sean Connery, Richard Gere, and Julia Ormond; and producing A Walk in the Clouds, directed by Alfonso Arau and starring Keanu Reeves; My Life, starring Michael Keaton and Nicole Kidman and the romantic comedy My Best Friend's Wedding, Australian director P.J. Hogan's American direct ing debut featuring Julia Roberts. Most recently he produced Unconditional Love, starring Kathy Bates and Rupert Everett and directed by Hogan.

Zucker began his career in collaboration with his brother, David Zucker, and Jim Abrahams when they formed their production company, known as ZAZ. The team wrote and directed the comedy classic, Airplane!, wrote and directed Top Secret, directed the comedy Ruth1ess People, staffing Bette Midler and Danny De Vito, and produced and wrote the cult favorite Kentucky Fried Movie. They also wrote and produced the popular Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad!, directed by David Zucker and staffing Leslie Nielsen, and created the acclaimed television series Police Squad!"
