David Seltzer
A graduate of the Northwestern University School for Film and Television, Seltzer began his career penning screenplays for such horror film classics as The Hellstrom Chronicle and The Omen. He also scored a direct hit with children for his book adaptation of the memorable 1971 feature, Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory, starring Gene Wilder.
Seltzer's varied writing credits extend over parts of four different decades and include My Giant, Bird on a Wire, Lucas, Punchline, Someone to Watch over Me, Table for Five, The Other Side of the Mountain and One Is a Lonely Number.
In addition, he wrote the script for the 2002 film Dragonfly, Shining Through, Prophecy, Nobody's Baby, Six Weeks and King, Queen, Knave.
Seltzer's directing credits include Nobody's Baby, Shining Through, Punchline and Lucas.
Early in his career, he wrote the teleplays for the TV movies My Father's House and Larry.
He is married to Eugenia Zukerman and has four children.
