Riley Griffiths makes his feature film debut in Super 8. Griffiths was born in a small town in Southern Utah and discovered a passion to perform at a young age when he took to the stage at the age of 6 playing Nick Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream. His first professional acting role was at the age of 9 as Robin in the Summer line-up for the Utah Shakespearean Festival's The Merry Wives of Windsor. Other plays and musicals Riley has appeared in include playing the title role in King Lear, Potipher in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Capulet in Romeo and Juliet, Malvalio in Twelfth Night, Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Sergeant in Pirates of Penzance, Antipholus of Syracuse in the Comedy of Errors, Cyrano in Cyrano de Bergerac, Mr. Mayor in Seussical Jr. and most recently Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream.
Now dividing his time between Seattle and Los Angeles, Griffiths enjoys playing football, basketball, snowboarding, drawing, and spending time with his family and friends.
