Over the past several years, Cameron Monaghan has constructed memorable characters for television and film that have placed him on the forefront of the entertainment business, as one of the most-watched and buzzed about actors in 2011. He landed his big break in 2003, booking his first theatrical role in The Music Man as Winthrop Paroo opposite Victor Garber. In 2004, Monaghan booked roles on the FOX series Malcom in the Middle, and on Nickelodeon's Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide. The series, based on the UK television show, is centered on a lower-income family in Chicago; Monaghan portrays Macy's son, and Rossum's brother, 'Ian.' In addition to the series, Monaghan can also be seen as one of the leads in the upcoming highly buzzed about Disney film PROM, set for release in April 2011.
