Dylan Taylor

As Steve Wassenfelder Dylan Taylor plays the ship's out of shape theoretical physicist who nearly didn't make the astronaut team. But we're sure glad Dylan made the cut for ABC's Defying Gravity.

Most recently a series lead in the Comedy Network's House Party, Dylan's television credits also include guest-starring roles in The CW's Aliens In America, CTV's Murdoch Mysteries, Disney's Life With Derek, and Global Television's The Jane Show. He co-starred in the movie-of-the-week The Dive from Clausen's Pier for Lifetime, and had lead roles in the short films Oy, it's a Boy and A Dying Fall, both for CBC's Zed TV; and The Nincompoops for Bravo.

Dylan's feature film credits include Terry Gilliam's Tideland opposite Jeff Bridges and Janet McTeer; The Incredible Hulk opposite Edward Norton; and lead roles in Warriors of Terra with Ed Furlong; Hooked on Speedman with Maury Chaykin and Paul Gross; and the cult hit Charlie Bartlett with Anton Yelchin, Hope Davis, and Robert Downey Jr.

A 2003 graduate of George Brown's Theatre Conservatory in Toronto, Dylan quickly became an active member of the city's theatre community. In his first professional show, Dylan earned a Dora nomination for Outstanding Performance for his work in the play Bluffers of Moon.

He makes his home in Toronto, Canada.
