Alejandro Chomski
Argentina-born Chomski made an immediate impact when his first movie, Today and Tomorrow ("Hoy y Manana) premiered at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival in the Un Certain Regard section. Today and Tomorrow, a heartbreaking tale of a woman descending into prostitution, earned him a best director award for a first feature at the Los Angeles International Film Festival.
Chomski studied at the New York Film Academy and was granted a Fulbright Scholarship to attend the American Film Institute, where he got his MFA in directing.
