Lee Anthony Smith
Later, Lee studied Theater Arts and Graphic Design at Eastern Kentucky University. After graduating, he attended the Masters in Film Program at Columbia College, Chicago. There, he started honing his skills as a screenwriter. "I soon realized that I had more ideas than money, and since paper is a lot cheaper than film, I started writing."
Meanwhile, he also directed and acted in several stage productions. He won the Gonzo Theatre Award for Best Director and the Illinois Screenwriting Award for Best Screenplay (with co-writer, Robert Sherwin.)
Known for having a unique visual style, Lee was soon recruited by Renar Studios where he continued to develop his skills as a graphic designer, storyboard artist and photographer. Always athletic, Lee also trained for several years at the famed Degerberg Martial Arts Academy and worked as a personal trainer in between acting jobs.
Eventually, Lee teamed up with fellow actor and filmmaker, Gregory J. Bradley, and they formed their own production company, Virtuoso Entertainment. During this time, they worked in all facets of film and video production, including writing a library of spec screenplays.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Lee and Greg have written and developed feature-film projects for such production companies as Def Pictures, Signature, 360 Ent., USA Films, Franchise, Mobius, and Lionsgate.
