Daniela Sea broke into film with a supporting role in John Cameron Mitchell's Shortbus, as well as appearing in several music videos that include Bright Eyes' First Day of My Life and Scissor Sisters' Filthy Gorgeous. Born in Los Angeles, Sea grew up on the shores of Malibu where she started surfing at the age of six and was winning competitions by the time she was thirteen. Before deciding to explore acting, Sea traveled extensively throughout Western and Eastern Europe, culminating with an 18-month trek on foot — walking and hitchhiking from Poland into the hills of India. Sea currently resides in New York City and is writing an original screenplay and working collaboratively on the performance, film and music project, The Exciting Conclusion.
