Christopher Egan
It was his performances in the roles of Gavroche in the Glen Street Theatre production of Les Misérables and of Baby John in West Side Story at the Zenith Theatre that displayed Egan's future talent as an actor. In 1998 he won the North Shore Best Actor Award. The following year, at the age of sixteen, his dream came true when he was cast in the role of Nick Smith on the successful Australian series, Home and Away. He portrayed this popular character for three years.
Egan has continued to earn critical kudos, receiving Dolly magazine's Prince of TV Award in 2001 and being nominated for the TV WEEK Logie Award for Most Popular New Talent.
Since moving from Sydney to Los Angeles in January 2004 to pursue his film and television career, Egan he has appeared in the soon to be released feature, Alpha Male, and is currently shooting a Warner Bros pilot, The Prince, for the WB Network.
In his spare time Egan enjoys surfing, going to the theater and to movies, and hanging out with friends.
