Marco Pennette

Producer-writer Marco Pennette first began his career at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. As a student, he was a finalist in the Young Playwright's Festival with his one-act play, Chopsticks, interned for Broadway director Harold Prince -- and sold his first TV script to the sitcom Kate & Allie.

Once he finished college in 1989, Pennette decided it was time to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue his career in writing. His first job had him on the writing staff for multiple series, such as Dear John, (starring Judd Hirsch) and Dave's World. Pennette then went on to co-create the successful sitcom Caroline in the City, which ran from 1995-2000. In addition, he also created the series Conrad Bloom and co-created Union Square, All About The Andersons and the romantic comedy I'm With Her.

This season, Pennette created the mid-season comedy Crumbs and co-created the NBC drama, Inconceivable, with Oliver Goldstick.

Pennette resides in Los Angeles with his partner, Steve Rabiner and their daughter Ally.
