Kita Sha

Kita Sha was born in 1977 in St. Louis, Missouri. After graduating high school, Kita set her sights on fashion. Majoring in fashion marketing at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale, she continued to pursue her modeling career, signing with Elite Chicago. The opportunity allowed Kita to travel and model internationally. While overseas the acting bug hit. Although enjoying a very lucrative and successful career as a model and professional stylist, the urge to act could no longer be contained. She set her sights on becoming an actress. Kita made the decision to move to Los Angeles and pursue her dream of acting full-time, in the summer of 2002.

Shortly after setting foot on L.A. soil, she landed a lead role in the movie Hood Angels, an urban spoof of Charlie's Angels. This talented actress works also include an appearance on the television show Bernie Mac, as well as, other movies such as, Cosmetology 101. Her most recent role is as Lyric, in the move The Guy in Row Five.

Kita's unique talent, presence, and level-headedness has no boundaries. In conjunction to pursuing her acting career, she began performing stand-up comedy at a variety of Los Angeles' hottest comedy clubs, The Improv, Laugh Factory, and The Comedy Store. Kita's determination and perseverance does not stop there. She is currently writing a sitcom set to come out in 2005. When not performing Kita can be found pursuing her other interests, fashion, make-up, and popping gum!
