Claude Jade
Claude Jade (1948) is a French actress, who was the star in François Truffaut's movies Stolen Kisses, Bed & Board and Love on the Run. Claude Jade has also played in American (Alfred Hitchcock's Topaz), Belgian, Italian, Japanese and Soviet movies and was a star in the television series The Island of Thirty Coffins (1979). Her many contributions to French Culture were recognised in 1998, when she was named a Knight in the légion d'honneur. In 2000 she received the New Wave Award at Palm Beach International Film Festival for her trend-setting role in the world cinema.
Her autobiography Baisers envolés was released in March 2004.
