Neil Pearson

Neil Pearson originated the role of Bridget's boss in Bridget Jones's Diary. After training at the Central School for Speech and Drama, Pearson spent the 1980s working in the theatre and playing small television roles. His breakout role came in 1990 as Dave in the award-winning British television show Drop the Dead Donkey, a topical sitcom set in the newsroom of a fictional television station, followed by the lead in the highly acclaimed and award-winning television police drama series Between the Lines. More recent television credits include The Booze Cruise, Murder in Mind and Armadillo. His feature film credits also include Fever Pitch and Privates on Parade.
