Marsha Oglesby is the president of Brooklyn Films where she is a partner with director and producer Jon Avnet. Before discovering Kerry Conran's six minute short which became Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Oglesby produced, among other things, Things You Can Tell Just by Looking at Her, starring Glenn Close, Cameron Diaz and Holly Hunter; and the acclaimed miniseries Uprising, starring Hank Azaria, LeeLee Sobieski, Jon Voight, and David Schwimmer. Oglesby received the prestigious Christopher Award for Uprising. Her first film as a producer was the documentary Tie-Died, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
