returns to NBC series television as the executive producer of Medical Investigation
Prior to his role as a writer/producer on Boomtown, Andries wrote and produced for acclaimed drama series Alias and Six Feet Under. Since 1996, he has written an eclectic mix of hour-long television drama series including Millennium, The Hoop Life, Dangerous Minds and Prey.
A graduate of New York University's School of the Arts, Andries has been writing professionally for 11 years. In 1993, while in his second year in Walt Disney's Pictures' New Writers Fellowship Program, he wrote the courtroom drama Kangaroo Court, which was later nominated for a 1995 Academy Award for Best Live Action Short.
