Sabotage
Sao Paulo rapper Sabotage (the stage name of Mauro Mateus dos Santos) made his debut in O Invasor and played opposite Paulo Miklos (Anisio) in the film's most controversial scene. They invade an engineering workshop belonging to the people who hired them to commit a crime and demand money so that the rapper can cut a CD. They improvise a rap. In the real world, Sabotage recorded his first CD (Rap é Compromisso) on the Cosa Nostra label belonging to Mano Brown. He participated in the soundtrack to O Invasor and to the compilation Colecco Nacional. The rapper was on a Brazil-wide tour when he was brutally murdered on January 24, 2003, before he could see the première of CARANDIRU (in which he plays Weasel. Sabotage leaves another unreleased film behind him: Scco Paulo dos Demônios, a documentary about the musical group Demônios da Garoa, directed by Paulo Bocatto.
