Eliza Bennett

At just eleven years of age, Eliza Bennett has already amassed an impressive list of credits. The young British actress performed in the original cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at the London Palladium, and undertook the role of Jemimah from 2002 - 2003. Directed by Adrian Noble of the Royal Shakespeare Co., the musical production featured an all-star cast, and marked Eliza's successful West End debut. It was during this period that she was also chosen to reprise a short excerpt from the show for BBC television's Blue Peter Book Awards, and for BBC. Radio 7.

Eliza became interested in acting at a very early age. A native of Reading, England, she performed in several school plays and, when she was just seven, she was encouraged by one of her teachers to join a part-time drama group. Eliza went on to study acting, speech and prose for the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art exams, and is also a student of ballet, tap and modern dance. Among her first professional acting roles was the part of a Tap Dancing Chicken in Jelly Beanz Theatre Co.'s London Fringe production of The Little Rabbit Habit, and an appearance in a television comedy pilot for Panico Productions.
