Christopher Erskin makes his feature film directorial debut with a new twist on the outrageous family comedy, JOHNSON FAMILY VACATION. Erskin began his career at the age of 9, making home movies based on the work of the directors he loved, including Ridley Scott, Tony Scott, Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg. In 1996, Erskin began his professional career directing music videos. With credits ranging from R. Kelly and T. Boz (of TLC) to Snoop Dogg and Missy Elliot to Boyz II Men and Teddy Riley's Blackstreet, Erskin became known in the industry for unique aesthetic vision and ability to capture the spirit of young artists. With unique framing, ideas and effects, Erskin enraptured video audiences.
Erskin has also made a name for himself on the cutting edge of commercials, where his work includes Mandy Moore as well as spots for such national brands as Pontiac and Footlocker.
