Larry Charles

Larry Charles makes his feature directorial debut with MASKED AND ANONYMOUS. Charles has directed multiple episodes of Larry David's HBO series, Curb Your Enthusiasm and served as a writer, producer, supervising producer and executive producer on two of modern television's most successful comedies, Seinfeld and Mad About You. He is the recipient of a Peabody Award, a Golden Globe, two Emmy Awards and three additional Emmy nominations for his work on Seinfeld, along with two additional Emmy nominations for Mad About You.

Charles developed and served as executive producer on the Emmy Award-winning animated series, Dilbert and on the live-action version of the cult underground comic, The Tick. Throughout his career he has collaborated with a dazzling range of talent, on a variety of projects, including James Brooks, Richard Belzer, Michael Moore, Barry Sonnenfeld, Jon Favreau and Ed Burns. He has been the subject of the work of other artists as well, having been profiled in David Wild's bestseller, The Showrunners. He also appeared as a character in Peter Farrelly's novel, The Comedy Writer.

Charles is currently developing a number of feature film projects as well as a series for HBO with Salma Hayek.
