Ravi Kapoor
Among Kapoor's television credits are the British miniseries Peacock Spring, Blood & Peaches and the critically acclaimed, 10-part Land of Plenty, which recently aired on BBC America. He is also featured in the British independent feature Wild West, a film about a Pakistani country-western band looking to make it to Nashville. Kapoor's theater credits include the recent Los Angeles production of Rice Boy at the Mark Taper Forum. He also wrote and directed the play Oh Sweet Sita, with productions in London and Toronto.
Following his move to the United States, Kapoor worked with a touring children's theater company, performing plays such as The Tempest, The Three Musketeers, The Odyssey and Romeo & Juliet. Before playing an eccentric forensic examiner on Crossing Jordan, Kapoor played a second-year medical resident on the series Gideon's Crossing.
Kapoor is a member of the South Asian Artists Collective (SAART) and one of the organizers of its annual Artwallah Festival, which showcases South Asian talent in the fields of film, literature, drama, music and the visual arts.
