Richard Karn

Karn studied acting at the University of Washington, receiving a Masters degree from the school's Professional Actors Program. He then moved to New York City, performing Off-Broadway in The Foreigner, Me and My Girl, Losing It, and The Other Shore.

He relocated to Los Angeles after appearing in such movies as Desperately Seeking Susan, and David Mamet's House of Games. While working in regional theatre, Karn happened to meet Matt Williams, who later created Home Improvement.

Most recently, he has appeared in Pooch and the Pauper, Bram Stroker's The Mummy, Air Bud IV, That 70s Show, and the animated series, Disney's Recess.

In his spare time, Karn runs the Richard Karn Celebrity Golf Classic in his hometown of Seattle. Each year, the event raises money for cancer research.

Karn lives in Los Angeles and Seattle with his wife Tudi and son Cooper.
