Biography #2 (for The Merchant of Venice)

Actress Lynn Collins will display her tremendous range and versatility this year with supporting roles in numerous films. Collins appeared in the Box office hit 13 GOING ON 30, alongside Jennifer Garner and 50 FIRST DATES, with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore.

Collins was born and raised in Texas but moved to New York when she was accepted into the esteemed Juilliard School in Manhattan to study acting. While at Juilliard, Lynn was honored with the two most prestigious awards given to drama students: The Houseman Award, for exceptional ability in classical theatre and command of language and The Michel St. Denis Award, given to one member of the 4th year graduating class for outstanding achievement and commitment to the ensemble.

After graduating, Collins landed her first starring role on the New York stage, playing Ophelia opposite Liev Schrieber in The NYSF Public Theatre's production of HAMLET. Numerous roles followed, both Shakespeare (Juliet in Sir Peter Hall's production of ROMEO AND JULIET at the Ahmanson Theatre and John Barton's Shakespeare special for PBS) and otherwise, including her first lead role on Broadway in Scott Elliot's production of THE WOMEN at The Roundabout Theatre.

Biography #3 (for Haunted)

Lynn Collins portrays Jessica, Frank Taylor's ex-wife and an assistant D.A. who tries to help her ex-husband cope with the tragic disappearance of their son.

Born in Houston, Collins spent the majority of her formative years in Singapore. During her teens, she returned to Houston to finish her last years of high school and later earned a bachelor's degree in drama from The Juilliard School in New York.

On the small screen, Collins has made guest appearances on episodes of Law & Order: SVU and The Education of Max Bickford.

Collins has also performed in numerous productions at top theaters in both Los Angeles and New York. Most recently she was seen in The Women on Broadway, Hamlet at The Public Theater in New York, which also starred Liev Schreiber, and Romeo & Juliet at the Ahmanson Theater, where she starred opposite D.B. Woodside with Sir Peter Hall directing.

Upcoming films featuring Collins include the independent film Never Get Outta The Boat, as well as Down With Love, in which she appears with Rene Zellweger and Ewan McGregor.

Collins recently moved to Los Angeles with her fiancé. She enjoys astrology, cooking and has an impressive green thumb.
