Aaron Himelstein

A Chicago native, Aaron Himelstein has been acting and making short films since age eleven. He was first recognized for directing and producing the short 'A Split Second,' which won an IFP Flyover Zone Film Festival award.

After spending a summer at New York University studying filmmaking, Himelstein landed a leading role in the off-Broadway play 'The Dead Eye Boy' opposite Lili Taylor for which he has been nominated for a prestigious Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actor. His stage credits also include a principal role in 'Morning Star' for Chicago's renowned Steppenwolf Theatre Company. He has honed his skills appearing in many local Chicago productions, a proving ground from which many talented actors have emerged.

On television Himelstein landed roles on the ABC series 'What About Joan?' and 'Cupid.' He made his motion picture debut with a small appearance in 'High Fidelity,' starring Dennis Quaid.
