Thomas Calabro

Calabro has enjoyed a prolific career that encompasses television films as well as high-profile roles on television series. His first series role was that of Joey Coltrera on Dream Street, but he is internationally known for his portrayal of the misunderstood Dr. Michael Mancini on the popular long-running nighttime television series Melrose Place, for which he also directed several episodes each season.

A member of the acclaimed Actor's Studio in New York, his big break came when Denzel Washington had to bow out of the production of a play and Calabro was asked to step in. In keeping with his theatrical roots, he has also appeared in the play Gravity Shoes at The Hudson Theatre in Los Angeles.

Calabro appeared in the black comedy Best Actress, an E! Entertainment Television feature, as well as in Ice Angel for Fox. He also starred as psychopath Richard Brown in Stolen Innocence and as Detective Martinson in Sleep, Baby, Sleep. Both were made-for-television movies, and both featured actress Tracey Gold as his co-star.

Calabro also directed the play Orphans, which was performed at various homeless and rehabilitation shelters in New York. He currently resides in Los Angeles with his wife Liz and their children.
