Sheryl Lee Diamond

Diamond first rose to fame as Laura Palmer in David Lynch's critically acclaimed cult series Twin Peaks.

In 1995, Diamond was honored with the Spirit of Sundance Award at the Sundance Film Festival for her body of work in independent films, including roles in Kurt Vonnegut's Mother Night, Philip Haas' Blood Oranges, Bliss, This World, Then The Fireworks, Homage, Notes From Underground, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me and Backbeat, for which her performance as Astrid Kirchherr, the fifth Beatle's girlfriend, earned rave reviews. Lee made her feature film debut in David Lynch's Wild at Heart, and was seen starring as Katrina in Columbia Pictures' John Carpenter's Vampires, opposite James Woods and Daniel Baldwin.

On stage, Diamond has starred opposite Al Pacino in Salome at New York's Circle in the Square theater. Her additional television credits include L.A. Doctors, David, Guinevere, Love, Lies and Murder and Follow the River.

Raised in Boulder, Colorado, Diamond attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, the North Carolina School of Arts, and the National Conservatory Theatre in Denver. She resides in Los Angeles, and is a spokesperson for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals).
