Kevin Bray

Kevin Bray is known as a masterful storyteller and creative visionary with well over 100 music videos to his credit. Honored for his body of work by MTV Awards, MVPA Awards, Billboard and Ritmo Latino Awards, he made his groundbreaking debut music video with De La Soul's hip hop Potholes in My Lawn. Bray's style had attracted artists such as Eric B. & Rakim, Biz Markie and Brand Nubians among many others, when his Have You Ever video for Brandy caught the eye of Clive Davis who asked him to direct Whitney Houston's Heartbreak Hotel. Their relationship led to Bray's directing Houston's next six music videos and his work with Savage Garden, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Folds Five and 'N Sync.

Bray has also directed music videos for Christina Aguilera, The Fugees and Me'Shell Ndegeocello. As a commercial director, Bray has been highly successful with his high profile Nike campaign featuring Lamar Odom of the L.A. Clippers and Method Man from Wu-Tang Clan and most recently, Puma's pseudo-documentary high school basketball campaign and a series of spots for Verizon.

The director attended the University of Michigan and the Sorbonne before completing his studies at New York University Film School. He went on to found his own production company, Hex Films in New York City, before moving to Los Angeles to work with David Naylor & Associates and Satellite Films.
