Terrence Howard won the NAACP Image Award as Outstanding Supporting Actor for his performance in The Best Man, for which he also received nominations from both the Chicago Film Critics Association and the Independent Spirit Awards. He was most recently seen in Angel Eyes starring Jennifer Lopez, Glitter opposite Mariah Carey, Alan Rudolph's Investigating Sex, and HBO's critically acclaimed Boycott, a true story from the Civil Rights movement in the 1950s co-starring Jeffrey Wright, for which he also received an NAACP image award nomination.

Howard's previous film credits include Big Momma's House, Best Laid Plans, Spark, The Player's Club, johns, Sunset Park, Mr. Holland's Opus, Dead Presidents, and Who's the Man. On television he portrayed the young Cassius Clay in ABC's Muhammad Ali biopic King of the World and co-starred in the ABC telefilm The Jackson Five: An American Dream. His series credits include NYPD Blue, Sparks, Coach, Picket Fences, Law & Order, Family Matters and The Cosby Show.
