Emilia Fox
The Oxford University graduate recently filmed lead roles in Mathias Ledoux' Three Blind Mice (with Edward Furlong and Elsa Zylberstein); and Roberto Faenza's The Soul Keeper (starring as Sabina Spielrein, opposite Iain Glen as
Carl Jung). She also starred in Hideous Man, a short film directed by John Malkovich.
Fox, the daughter of actor Edward Fox, has appeared in a variety of U.K. television projects. She was a series regular on Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased); costarred in the recent BBC mini-series David Copperfield (directed by Simon Curtis); played Mrs. De Winter in the recent Rebecca mini-series (directed by Jim O'Brien); and made her debut in the BBC mini-series Pride and Prejudice (directed by Simon Langton).
Her stage credits include Jonathan Kent's Almeida Theatre stagings of Coriolanus and Richard II (starring opposite Ralph Fiennes); the Donmar Warehouse production of Good, directed by Michael Grandage; and the Royal Shakespeare Company production of The Cherry Orchard, directed by Adrian Noble.
Fox has participated in radio plays and also lent her voice to books-on-tape. For her readings of the latter, ranging from Madame Bovary to Rebecca, she was honored with the Benjamin Franklin Award for Adult Fiction.
She plays the piano as well as the cello.
