A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Haverford College and visiting scholar to Oxford University, Spiegel began his film career on the documentary From Hollywood to Hanoi, a film festival favorite. Moving to Globalvision, he worked on the highly regarded PBS television series, Front Line, and as an associate producer on A Current Affair. Following completion of the NYU certificate program, his work was accepted at the student festival with honorable mention by director Terry Pathe. He worked on a number of feature films including Backfire and Crimson Lights. The Farmhouse marks his feature film debut as director.
