Taryn Manning was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona where she excelled in athletics from roller-skating to Karate.

Upon her family's move to Cardiff, California, Manning enrolled in the Orange County High School of the Arts, and honed her skills in dance, acting and singing. After graduation, she headed for Hollywood and began working in commercials, film and TV.

Taryn is perhaps best known for her role as Rebecca Peabody on FOX's critically acclaimed Get Real. Her other television credits include ABC's The Practice, the WB's Popular, and ABC's NYPD Blue. Taryn's film credits also include Gus Van Sant's Speedway Junkies, The Specials and Lucky 13. She also appeared in Columbia Tri-Star's television film C'mon, Get Happy: The Partridge Family Story.

Manning will next be seen in Warner Bros. White Oleander, starring opposite Allison Lohman, Michelle Pfeiffer, Renée Zellweger and Robin Wright Penn; and the untitled Britney Spears motion picture debut.

Taryn, along with her brother Kellin, will soon heat up the airwaves with their band Boomkat, an eclectic mix of Electronica and Hip-Hop. Taryn does vocals for Boomkat while Kellin composes and arranges the music. In crazy/beautiful, she performs one of her self-penned songs entitled Being Bad.

Taryn currently resides in Los Angeles.
