Nestor Serrano
Nestor Serrano is a native New Yorker whose career as an actor spans more than two decades and includes more than 30 off-Broadway theater productions. Serrano began his career on the stage in Harold Pinter's off-Broadway production of Diamonds. Director Herb Ross then cast Nestor in the Broadway production of The Boys of Winter, alongside Wesley Snipes, Matt Dillon and Ving Rhames. Then came Cuba and His Teddy Bear, with Robert De Niro. Serrano's recent stage work includes the Broadway production of The Tempest with Patrick Stewart.
Serrano also has had regular roles in such television series as True Blue, The Hat Squad, Miami Vice and Maloney. Additionally, he has had recurring guest star roles on prime-time series including The Profiler, The X-Files, Law and Order, Early Edition and New York Undercover, among others.
Among Serrano's feature film credits are The Money Pit, Lethal Weapon 2, Daylight, City Hall, Hangin' With the Homeboys, The Negotiator and The Insider. Serrano also worked with legendary director Martin Scorsese in the 1999 film Bringing Out the Dead. More recently, Serrano co-starred in Bait with Jamie Foxx and City by the Sea with De Niro.
