Michael Weatherly

Born in New York and raised in Fairfield, Conn., Michael Weatherly left college to pursue a career in acting. His early and life-long passion for music gave him an additional creative outlet and, combined with the usual laundry list of starving-actor odd jobs, provided enough professional success to keep a roof over his head while he pursued his acting career.

Weatherly's first real job as an actor was on the then No. 1 television comedy series The Cosby Show, for which he played Theo Huxtable's occasionally seen roommate. Also while in New York, he landed a role in the independent film Trigger Happy.

His first series-regular role was on the television series Significant Others. While in production, he met director Whit Stillman, who cast him in the film The Last Days of Disco. From that project Weatherly moved on to other feature films, including The Specials, Venus and Mars and Gun Shy.

Just before being cast in his starring role on the sci-fi series Dark Angel, Weatherly played Christina Applegate's ex-husband on the television series Jesse. He also has guest-starred on such series as JAG, Ally McBeal and Charmed. Most recently he has starred as a series regular on Navy NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service.
