Born in 1983, Gregory Smith had his first acting assignment at the mere age of 14 months when he appeared in a Tide commercial. Smith has appeared in numerous feature films and was most recently seen playing Mel Gibson's son in The Patriot. Smith has starred in Small Soldiers with Kirsten Dunst and in 1997, he received a nomination at the Young Artist Awards for Best Performance in a Feature Film (Small Soldiers) - Leading Young Actor. Smith also co-starred with Richard Dreyfuss and Jenna Elfman in the light-hearted comedy Krippendorf's Tribe, co-starred as Harriet's friend ‘Sport' in Harriet the Spy with Rosie O'Donnell and co-starred with Rick Moranis and Tom Arnold in Big Bully. Gregory's newest project is the television series Kate Brasher, where he stars with Mary Stuart Masterson, Rhea Perlman and Hector Elizondo. Smith is an avid sportsman excelling in soccer, skiing and now horseback riding.
