It was his performance in a musical revue in his hometown of New York City that caught the eye of an agent and led to his first break: the Nickelodeon series Hey Dude! Next, Lascher landed a role in the television series A Family For Joe, starring Robert Mitchum and Juliette Lewis.
Lascher made his feature film debut in Ridley Scott's White Squall, co-starring with Jeff Bridges, Ryan Phillippe and Scott Wolf.
