Dennis Farina

Dennis Farina is one of Hollywood's most recognizable and respected actors. He began his acting career in the early 1980s with a succession of TV roles. He made his motion picture debut in Michael Mann's Thief, followed by roles in JoJo Dancer, Your Life is Calling, Manhunter, Midnight Run, Another Stakeout, Striking Distance and Little Big League before making a memorable appearance as Ray Bones Barboni in Barry Sonnenfeld's Get Shorty.

Additional feature film roles include Out of Sight, in which he played Jennifer Lopez' father, and the role of Lt. Col. Walter Anderson in Steven Spielberg's World War II masterpiece Saving Private Ryan. He most recently appeared in Snatch and Big Trouble.

Notable television credits include such series as Crime Story, in which he starred as Lt. Mike Torello, and Buddy Faro.

A veteran of Chicago Theatre, Farina has appeared in Joe Mantegna's Bleacher Bums; A Prayer For My Daughter, directed by John Malkovich; A Class Three Trial in Yokohama, directed by Donald Finn; The Time of Your Life, directed by Donald Moffat; Heat, directed by Roberta Custer; Streamers, directed by Terry Kinney; and Tracers, directed by Gary Sinise, which won the Joseph Jefferson Award for Best Ensemble.
