Zak Orth
Zak Orth has, since making his big screen debut in David O. Russell's Spanking the Monkey, appeared in such feature films as In & Out, with Kevin Kline and Tom Selleck, and William Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet, with Leonardo DiCaprio and Claire Danes. Orth can also be seen in Scott Hicks' Snow Falling on Cedars, with Ethan Hawke, Sam Shepard and Max Von Sydow, and Down to You, with Freddie Prinze Jr. Currently, the actor is filming Wet Hot American Summer with Paul Rudd and Janeane Garofalo.
For television, his credits include starring roles in the critically acclaimed HBO World War II drama When Trumpets Fade and Hallmark Hall of Fame's Rose Hill, as well as a guest appearance on the popular drama series Law & Order.
Orth has appeared on stage at Lincoln Centre in the premiere of Eric Bogosian's SubUrbia, at the Roundabout Theatre in Misalliance, in The Three Sisters at the Goodman Theater, and in Nicky Silver's The Eros Trilogy at the Vineyard Theater.
Born and raised in Illinois, Orth received his BFA in Theatre from DePaul University. He currently makes his home in New York City.
