Marc Lawrence
Marc Lawrence sends his character Gracie Hart on a new adventure in his screenplay for Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous, his fourth collaboration with Sandra Bullock. He made his directorial debut with Two Weeks Notice, which followed Miss Congeniality and his first project with Bullock, Forces of Nature.
A Brooklyn native who dropped out of NYU Law School, Lawrence began his career as a writer for television and received Emmy and Humanitas nominations for his work as writer and producer on the NBC series Family Ties. He also wrote and co-produced the NBC series Pride and Joy.
Additionally, Lawrence wrote the feature films Life With Mikey, which starred Michael J. Fox, and The Out-of-Towners, which starred Goldie Hawn and Steve Martin.
