Biography #2

David Boreanaz is an American actor. He was thrust into the limelight on Buffy the Vampire Slayer as the mysterious Angel, a vampire with a soul. The spin-off series Angel gave the chance for the character to evolve, and concentrate more on Angel's battle for redemption.

He was born in Buffalo, New York. David's father was a veteran weather forecaster, which first exposed him to the world of TV. But it was during this time when he was doing odd jobs to make ends meet that he was discovered. A neighbour who just happened to be in Hollywood noticed his brooding and intense looks while walking his dog.

His first appearance was a guest spot on the hit American sitcom Married... With Children as Kelly's biker boyfriend. Later would come film credits such as Aspen Extreme, Best of the Best 2, and Eyes of the World.

Recently David can be seen starring alongside Denise Richards and Katherine Heigl in the slasher flick Valentine (movie). He also appears in Dido's music video White Flag.

David Boreanaz currently lives in Los Angeles, California and is married to actress Jaime Bergman. The couple has a son named Jaden Rayne.

On stage, Boreanaz has performed at the Ensemble Theatre in Hat Full of Rain; at the Gardner Stage in Italian-American Reconciliation and Fool for Love; and on theatre row in Cowboy Mouth. His feature film credits include Aspen Extreme, Best of the Best 2 and Eyes of the World.
