Gary Grubbs

Gary Grubbs resigned from his job as a bulldozer salesman in 1978, and he and his wife, Glenda, moved to Los Angeles from Mississippi, to pursue careers in entertainment. Now, some twenty-two years later, Grubbs has worked for some of the most distinguished directors of our time, in a number of motion pictures including Oliver Stone's JFK, Mike Nichols' Silkwood, and Clint Eastwood's Honkytonk Man.

On television, Grubbs initially made a name for himself by portraying attorneys in two of the highest rated programs in TV history, The Burning Bed and Fatal Vision. His recent work includes appearances on The X-Files, Touched by an Angel, JAG, The Profiler, and ER. Last year he guest-starred in ten episodes of the hit Emmy Award-winning comedy Will & Grace.

As a writer, Grubbs has sold two pilot scripts to CBS, and is currently in development with USA Films for his movie-of-the-week The Second Coming, for which he serves as executive producer. For the stage, Grubbs' As The Crow Flies has met with critical acclaim and played to sold out audiences at the New Stage Theater in March and April of 1999.
