Melissa Sagemiller
Born and raised in Washington, DC, Sagemiller's passion for the arts emerged early. At the age of 3, she began to study dance: tap, ballet, jazz and modern. After responding to an ad in The Washington Post, Sagemiller made her stage debut at the age of 9 as Dill in To Kill a Mockingbird. Soon, she became a regular on local DC stages. She took
a break from acting to attend the University of Virginia, where she received a degree in Art History. When Sagemiller decided to return to acting full-time, she began studying at The Stella Adler Conservatory, NYU's Stonestreet Studio and at the Michael Howard Studio.
Sagemiller's film credits include: The Clearing, Soul Survivors, Get Over It, Life on a Ledge, Standing Still, Sorority Boys and Love Object. Her additional television credits include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
