Biography #2 (for Dirty Dancing Havana Nights)

Sela Ward will next be seen in Roland Emmerich's sci-fi thriller, The Day After Tomorrow, opposite Dennis Quaid and Jake Gyllenhaal. She was last seen in 54, with Mike Myers, Salma Hayek and Neve Campbell. Ward's other feature film credits include The Fugitive, opposite Harrison Ford and Tommy Le Jones, and My Fellow Americans, with Jack Lemmon among many others.

Ward recently starred opposite Billy Campbell in the widely popular television series Once and Again, winning the 2000 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in Drama. It was the second Emmy for the actress, who was previously honored as Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama for her role as Teddy in the NBC series Sisters. Ward also received unanimous acclaim for her performance in the Lifetime original film Almost Golden: The Jessica Savitch Story. Ward's performance earned her a Cable Ace award, a Screen Actors Guild nomination, and an Emmy nomination. Ward's additional television credits include the telefilms, The Reef, Double Jeopardy, Killer Rules, The Haunting of Sarah Hardy, and Bridesmaids, among many others.
