Biography #2 (for Blow Dry (2001))Hugh Bonneville is well remembered from his recent role in the hit romantic comedy Notting Hill, starring as the stuffy banker who fails to recognize Hollywood's biggest female star. His other recent film roles include Patricia Rozema's critically admired Mansfield Park, the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies and Kenneth Branagh's Frankenstein.
On stage, Bonneville has worked extensively with The Royal Shakespeare Company and the Royal National Theatre. He has also appeared in a wide variety of television roles in England including My Night With Reg, reprising his stage role, Madame Bovary and Holding Baby, in addition to appearing in such popular series as Peak Practice, Cadfael, Between The Lines and the soap-opera phenomenon The Eastenders.
